Day 01 Kathmandu:

Your Kailash Mansarovar Tour starts from Kathmandu. Arrive kathmandu, evening free for leisure& pleasure. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 02 Kathmandu:
After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Kathmandu that will include a visit to the Pashupatinath Temple, Bodhnath and trip to the Medieval Town of Bhaktapur.

Day 03 Lhasa :
Take the morning flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa. On arrival, transfer to the Hotel. Take a good rest to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04 Lhasa:
After breakfast, sightseeing of Lhasa that includes Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhore Street.

Day 05 Shigatse:
After breakfast, drive to Shigatse (340 Km/ 8 hrs). Lunch en route. Arrive at Shigatse. Dinner and over night stay in the Hotel.

Day 06 Latse:
After breakfast, leave for Latse (308 km/ 7 hrs). Lunch en route. Arrive at Latse. Dinner and overnight at the Guest House.

Day 07 Saga:
After breakfast, leave for Saga 300 km/8Hrs. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Guest House or tents, if needed.

Day 08 Parayang:
After breakfast, proceed for Parayang (200 km/ 6hrs). Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Guest House OR tents, if needed.

Day 09 Mansarovar :
Morning drive to Mansarovar (250 km/ 8 Hrs). Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Guest House/Tents.

Day 10 Mansarovar:
Full day on Holy banks of Mansarovar. Yatris will perform Mansarovar Parikrama by Jeeps. Dinner and overnight stay at Guest House/Tents.

Day 11:
After early breakfast, depart to Tarboche (starting point for Kailash Parikrama). Trek to Driraphuk (12 km/ 7 - 8 hrs). Packed Lunch. Dinner and overnight camping.

Day 12 Zutulphuk:
After early breakfast, start trekking to Zutulphuk via Dolma Pass (highest point of entire journey, 5750 m). The distance is 18 km with approximate time taken 9 - 10 hrs. Packed Lunch. Dinner and overnight camping.

Day 13:
After breakfast, trek further for 10 km/4 hrs) to arrive at the ending point of Parikrama where jeeps shall be waiting to drive the pilgrims back to Mansarovar. Packed lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Guest House/Tents.

Day 14 Parayang:
Morning drive to Parayang (250 km/ 8 Hrs). Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Guest House/Tents.

Day 15 Saga:
After breakfast, proceed for Saga (200 km/ 7 hrs). Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Guest House or tents if needed.

Day 16 Nyalam:
Morning leave for Nyalam (210 km/ 8 hrs). Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Hotel/ Guest House/ Tents.

Day 17:
After early breakfast at around 5:00 hrs. Start driving to Zhangmu (26 km/ 1½ hrs). After completing immigration formalities, cross Friendship Bridge on foot. Drive back to Kathmandu. Packed lunch en route. Arrive Kathmandu in evening to check in the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. (140 km/ 5 hrs.).

Day 18:
Day free for rest and own activities.

Day 19:
Tour end.


Important:Adi-Kailash and Om Parvat are in the region of 12,000-14,000 feet, with cold winds blowing in the daytime and in the evening. This is a hazardous trek at high altitudes, on mountainous terrain with occasional bad weather. Do not ignore these instructions or take them lightly, as the consequences could be serious. Clothing should be light, wind proof, water repellant and capable of providing enough warmth.

It is recommended that each  trekkers carry the following items:

1. Wind-proof jacket with parka 1 no.
2. Sweaters 2 full sleeves 1 half sleeve
3. Balaclava (Monkey cap) 1 no.
4. Woollen and leather gloves 1 pair each
5. Woollen/cotton long johns 2 pairs
6. Woollen socks 4 pairs
7. Cotton socks 4 pairs
8. Jeans|Pants 3 nos.
9. Shorts 2 nos.
10. Shirts/T-shirt 6 nos.
11. Sun glasses (good quality), with chain 1 no. for hanging around neck
12.Hunter/Marching/Trekking shoes 2 pairs (Carry extra shoe laces- normal shoes will be useless for Trekking)
13. Peaked cap or broad brimmed straw hat 1 no. (for protection against the sun)
14. Water bottle (1 large)
15. Torch light (carry two sets of extra cells and one bulb) 1 no.
16. Raincoat (1 large size)
17. Belt pouch for camera/money/ medicines/documents 1 no.
18. Large Plastic sheet for water proofing your luggage
19. Plate/Mug/Spoon 1 set
20. Toilet paper, Sun screen lotion (for protection from sunburn) 1 no.
21. Candles, Match box/lighter
22. Multipurpose knife 1 no.
23. Rubber slippers 1 no.



Good Health:
Even though participants do not need to submit any health certificate but those with a history of medical problems, particularly cardiac or respiratory, should consult a doctor before deciding to undertake the trip. It is rigorous and challenging trip where all the time spent at high altitudes. At least 2 months regular practice is recommend either 2 hours daily running, swimming, or joining on a health club may help to complete the yatra very successfully

    EQUIPMENTS

  • Personal jewellery must be kept to minimum.
  • Camera - Film rolls as required.
  • Torch (waterproof& powerful) spare cells.
  • Video camera - if required.
  • Pocket cassette recorder: with earphones to listen to music, prayers etc. during travel and also to record daily events.
  • Binoculars.
  • Conventional spectacles - Contact lens not advisable.
  • Cap (Sun/ snow/ rain protection).
  • Plastic mug.
  • Swiss knife (multipurpose).
  • Leak proof plastics water bottles (for water from Mansarovar and Gauri Kund).

Light weight suit case/ travel bag (take care to keep your baggage simpler and lighter as an emergency may arise where you might have to carry your own baggage against all odds.)
